Nanette Whatman commenced employment with Rehab Options in 2007 and
compliments our existing professional team with extensive experience of
12 years in occupational rehabilitation. Nanette attended Sydney
University to obtain a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Rehabilitation
Counselling) and combined this with a Post Graduate Certificate in Human
Resource Management through Charles Sturt University.
As a valued HR professional Nanette's experience and ability to
appropriately and successfully interact with clients and their employees
facilitated the best possible outcomes in all matters referred to Rehab
Options Management Support.
Nanette also performs the role of Mediator and in our clients Grievance
Protocols. That engagement along with our company strategies has proven
very successful in resolving any and all matters referred to Rehab
Options Management Support.
Those matters include but are not limited to Bullying and Harassment,
Sexual Misconduct, Psychological Barriers and Workplace Relations.
Further relevant experience that enhances her professional and effective
engagement includes the following:
Nanette has held positions as a Rehabilitation Counsellor with an
accredited Rehabilitation Provider where she gained practical experience
of her studies. Nanette was then employed as a Return to Work Coordinator
with a Government Department. During her varied roles Nanette has
acquired extensive skills in managing complex claims balancing the
support required for the injured worker with the interests of an
organisation.
Through involvement in developing policies as President of a Management
Committee of a Women's Health, attending workers compensation claims
reviews and managing complex claims through her rehabilitation roles
Nanette has developed a broad base of Return to Work Strategies and a
sound knowledge of Workers Compensation Legislation. HR/IR Strategies and
the appropriate legislation to ensure compliance with Protocols. This
guarantees that actions and strategies produce an undeniable best result
without risk to our valued clients. With such surety matters are
closed.
